This indicator is currently in the planning phase. The Integrated Energy Management System (IEMS) will coordinate data collection to evaluate the storage capacity of the energy grid against overall city energy consumption patterns.
Indicator Requirements
Numerator
Total amount of energy that can be stored annually on the city’s electrical grid and thermal grids (district heating and cooling schemes) in gigajoules (GJ).
Denominator
City’s total energy consumption.
Evidence Requirements (Auditor Checklist)
Indicator 72 = A / B A. Numerator : Please state the total amount of energy stored annually in the city’s electrical grid and thermal grids in gigajoules (GJ) for the assessment year. B. Denominator : Please state the total energy consumption in the city for the assessment year.
