In a city as vibrant and forward-thinking as Putrajaya, your safety is the foundation of our community. We are committed to weaving security into the very fabric of our urban environment, ensuring that help is never more than a moment away. Whether you are navigating our bustling city center, enjoying our scenic parks, or residing in our growing neighborhoods, our integrated emergency infrastructure is designed to provide immediate assistance whenever the need arises.

A Robust Shield of Physical Protection

Our commitment to public safety is built on a foundation of tangible, accessible hardware. Across the city, 93 physical panic buttons have already been strategically deployed throughout Phases 1 and 2. This network continues to expand, bolstered by proactive development requirements that ensure all new building constructions integrate these critical life-safety nodes into their infrastructure under municipal Development Orders (DO).

Looking ahead, an additional 25 units are scheduled for installation under Phase 3, further hardening the safety net across our urban landscape. These dedicated stations act as beacons of security, ensuring that help remains physically accessible in high-traffic and critical zones.

Security at Your Fingertips: The Mobile Panic Button

Safety is no longer confined to fixed locations; it moves with you. Through the MyPutrajaya mobile app, we have extended our emergency response capabilities directly to your smartphone. This digital feature empowers every member of the Putrajaya community to carry an emergency lifeline in their pocket. By transforming your mobile device into a personal security hub, we ensure that whether you are on the move or in a place without a physical unit nearby, the city’s emergency services remain instantly reachable at the tap of a button.

Seamless Integration: The Command Centre Protocol

The strength of this system lies in the speed and precision of our response. Every panic signal—whether triggered via a physical street-side button or through the MyPutrajaya mobile app—is routed instantly to the Putrajaya Command Centre (PCC).

Upon receiving an alert, our dedicated response team initiates a rigorous validation process (using nearby CCTV streams) to ensure the accuracy and urgency of the incident. Once a safety or health emergency is verified as genuine, the system triggers an immediate escalation protocol. We bridge the gap between the citizen and the solution by seamlessly coordinating with our network of partner agencies—including emergency medical services, local law enforcement, and specialized rescue teams—to guarantee that the right help reaches you exactly when it is needed.
