Annual volume of treated wastewater reused as a percentage of total annual treated wastewater volume in Putrajaya. Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) manages wastewater treatment for Putrajaya, processing 27.4 million m³ of treated effluent annually. Active monitoring is conducted via the SKPPAS (Sistem Kawalan Punca Pencemaran Alam Sekitar) IoT platform, which provides real-time water quality telemetry for Putrajaya Lake and its tributary network. The wastewater reuse programme is under active roadmap development.

Putrajaya’s wastewater management is operated by Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (IWK), which processes 27.4 million m³ of treated effluent annually across the Putrajaya sewerage network. Real-time water quality telemetry is provided by the SKPPAS IoT monitoring platform, which tracks key parameters (pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and nutrient loading) at Putrajaya Lake and upstream tributaries. A formal wastewater reuse programme targeting IND-62 compliance is under active development as part of Putrajaya’s circular water economy roadmap.
