Indicator Overview
As this indicator is in the planning phase, baseline data for distributed generation is being established. The Integrated Energy Management System (IEMS) will facilitate the tracking of electricity produced by local distributed generation facilities against total city consumption.
Indicator Requirements
Numerator
The amount of electricity produced by distributed generation production systems/facilities in GJ
Denominator
Total amount of electricity consumed in the city in the same units as the numerator (GJ) – this includes electricity produced by distributed generation production facilities.
Evidence Requirements (Auditor Checklist)
Indicator 71 = A / B X 100 A. Numerator : Please state the total amount of electricity produced (GJ) by distributed generation production systems/facilities for the assessment year. B. Denominator : Please state the total amount of electricity consumed in the city in GJ.
