Currently in the planning stage, this indicator will utilize the Integrated Energy Management System (IEMS) to monitor electrical and thermal energy recovery from wastewater treatment per capita. Accurate data collection will establish a baseline for bio-solids valorisation.

Numerator
Total amount of electrical and thermal energy expressed in GJ produced from wastewater treatment in the city
Denominator
The city’s total population.
