Overview
The Putranet fiber optic network stands as the central digital arterial system of Putrajaya. Owned and managed entirely by Perbadanan Putrajaya, this expansive municipal wide area network (WAN) provides ultra-high-speed, secure, and sovereign transit across the federal administrative center. By weaving dedicated underground IT ducting through vital zones and employing heavy-duty outdoor multimedia gateways, Putranet establishes the physical groundwork necessary for edge IoT deployments, live CCTV surveillance feeds, and real-time environmental telemetry—transforming the city into a hyper-connected urban landscape.
