The Putranet fiber optic network stands as the central digital arterial system of Putrajaya. Owned and managed entirely by Perbadanan Putrajaya, this expansive municipal wide area network (WAN) provides ultra-high-speed, secure, and sovereign transit across the federal administrative center. By weaving dedicated underground IT ducting through vital zones and employing heavy-duty outdoor multimedia gateways, Putranet establishes the physical groundwork necessary for edge IoT deployments, live CCTV surveillance feeds, and real-time environmental telemetry—transforming the city into a hyper-connected urban landscape.
