This indicator monitors the effectiveness of municipal recycling programs in diverting plastic waste from landfills. Managed by Perbadanan Putrajaya through localized recycling collection initiatives, it measures the extraction rate against total plastic waste generated.
Indicator Requirements
Numerator
Total amount of plastics coming out of sorting plants and recycled.
Denominator
Total amount of plastics waste on the market within the total population.
