Smart Transportation & Mobility is Putrajaya's strategic domain for transforming how residents, commuters, and visitors navigate the federal administrative capital. Perbadanan Putrajaya operationalises this domain through an interconnected ecosystem of intelligent parking management, real-time digital wayfinding, cashless transit payment, ride-sharing integration, and data-driven traffic management systems.

At its core, this domain leverages IoT sensor arrays, electronic variable message signs (VMS), mobile applications, and integrated command-centre telemetry to optimize the flow of private vehicles, public buses, and emerging micro-mobility solutions such as electric bicycles and autonomous transit pilots. The Putrajaya Command Centre (PCC) serves as the centralised intelligence hub, aggregating real-time traffic data and activating dynamic incident response protocols.

Putrajaya's compact, planned urban structure — characterised by its 38-kilometre radial boulevard network, dedicated pedestrian walkways, and integrated lakeside promenades — provides an ideal testbed for next-generation mobility solutions aligned with the Malaysia Smart City Framework (MSCF) Smart Mobility domain and MS ISO/IEC 37122 transport indicators.
