Cashless payments are digital methods for exchanging financial transactions between two parties. Cashless payments use a payment gateway to transfer funds using debit cards, credit cards, or ACH electronically by means of mobile phones, websites, kiosks, or other digital devices. E-Wallet SYSTEM
An E-wallet is a type of electronic card which is used for transactions made online through a computer or a smartphone. You can use Maybank QRPAY, Touch n Go, Boost, or Grabpay. This utility is the same as a credit or debit card. An E-wallet needs to be linked with the individual’s bank account to make payments. You can reload the eWallet is easy and seamless. Use your CIMB Bank, Maybank, HSBC, RHB, Bank Islam, Bank Simpanan Nasional or any other FPX supported bank account to reload your wallet. You can use your debit/credit card to reload too. CASHLESS PAYMENT AT PASAR TANI PUTRAJAYA PROGRAM
Farmers and public market traders in Putrajaya are required to use the e-wallet application as a condition for the renewal of business licenses, in an effort to prepare retail sector players for a new business model with the concept of digitization. KPDNHEP targets 100 farmers and public markets to use the e-wallet facility in every transaction with customers by the end of this year.
ReDI is a strategic synergy of various government and private agencies involving the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Territories, Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Bank Negara, and the Companies Commission (SSM), besides other agencies such as FAMA, Maybank and ReDI’s main goal is to ensure that all 12,844 traders in 306 farmers’ markets and public markets nationwide provide e-wallet facilities in the future.
